Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our assessment team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals, including children, and possess strong skills in the assessment of Autism Spectrum Disorders and Intellectual Developmental Disorder (Intellectual Disability).
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations
- Provide feedback to families regarding test results
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
- Complete assessment reports within a timely manner
-Participate in weekly clinical meetings with the assessment team
Requirements:
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology
- State licensure as a Clinical Psychologist
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Proficiency in administration of the ADOS-2 and other measures specifically designed to assess for symptoms related to Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desired skills:
- Proficiency working with individuals suspected of, or diagnosed with ADHD
- Ability to conduct evaluations in other languages (Spanish highly preferred)
- Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in non-assessment contexts (e.g., ABA therapy, social skills groups, parent consultation, etc.)
